Contestants should create an original piece of video content 120 seconds long or less with the theme of littering - #GetInTheBin. It must be uploaded to at least one of their chosen platforms (Facebook, YouTube or Instagram.) Entrants may only submit their own original works.


All submitted videos are subject to approval and will not be accepted if they are found to be offensive or in violation of copyright. This includes the use of copyrighted music, digital, movie or printed works.


The submission must include the OFFICIAL POWER OF VIDEO end screen slate at the end of the video for 3-5 seconds.




Video submissions will commence August 11th, 2020 until September 25th, 2020, 23:59 BST.


Late or early submissions may not be counted. ​


Multiple entries are permitted, but each video must be submitted via the website.


Speed Motion and Power of Video staff, employees and their family members may participate but are not eligible to win. ​ Speed Motion and Power of Video reserve the right to use submitted videos in Power of Video and Speed Motion publications, posts, website and in other promotions, including, but not limited to the Power of Video or Speed Motion channels on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube. ​


Video Competition Sponsors McDonald's, Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful and Live Here, Love Here also reserve the right to use submitted videos on their own publications, posts, website and in other promotions or campaigns, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or TV. ​


Submission of a video signifies agreement to these Terms and Conditions.



Winners will be determined by a panel of judges who are experts in the field, who will select winners from the highest rated videos, as well as creativity, narrative and story-telling skill. ​


Voting will take place in after the 25th September and winners will be announced shortly after. Winners will be notified by e-mail and announced on social media.
